Gold hoop earrings in a gentle boat-shape and antiqued, handmade texture.
Princess Maria of Portugal was immortalised by the painter Antonis Mor in 1550. He depicted her wearing five rows of golden hoop earrings in each ear.
I lost one of these the first time I wore it. I was gutted, and got in touch with the seller to see if I could buy a single one as a replacement, but the best they could do was offer a 20% discount off another pair. Within a couple of weeks, I lost the remaining earring. I’ve never lost earrings before so I can only assume the catch was faulty, but when I got in touch the seller basically insinuated I was lying and offered a measly 30% discount on a new pair. I’ve bought a few things I really love from CB, but the shocking quality and service this time has really put me off, wow.
If you're on the fence about whether you're going to buy these. A word of advice: BUY THEM! They're absolutely stunning, understated and elegant. I bought these in store in Collingwood and the service I received was top notch! Efficient and friendly!
